The Salvation Army of Staunton Thanksgiving /Christmas
Angel Tree and Food Assistance Application Sign Up Dates

The Salvation Army of Staunton will be taking applications for Thanksgiving/Christmas assistance on:

September 28th – October 2nd, 2026, Monday-Friday (Closed Wednesday)

October 5th – October 9th. 2026, Monday- Friday (Closed Wednesday)

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Friday from 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Items to bring to appointment:

• a valid ID
• any forms of income (paystubs, social security benefit letter, unemployment statements)
• birth certificates (children 12 and under)
• custody papers
• any benefit letter you may have such as (SNAP or TANF)
• proof of residency (We service Staunton and Western Augusta County.)

**Please know that you need to come and sign up for your family. If you wish to have someone else sign up your family, please bring a letter stating that you give them permission to do so.

We also ask that you do not bring children or anyone else with you to sign up. One person from each family will be allowed to come to sign up.

Our hearts are full after a great Sunday of worship and fellowship. We had a day of celebration with all the kids that went to Vacation Bible School in Waynesboro and Staunton these past couple of weeks.

Our chapel was full as all the kids brought their parents and grand parents and auties and uncles. What a day!! We had 73 in church. God is so, so good.

We are so grateful to all those who volunteered to teach and work with our kids. Thank you for loving our kids 🥰
