What a night! A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our St. Simon Alpha Game Night such a wonderful success!

We welcomed 130 guests and, thanks to your generosity, raised over $1,400 to support our next Alpha session beginning in September! 🙌

Your support helps us continue creating opportunities for people to come together, grow in faith, build community, and explore life and faith through Alpha. ❤️🙏

🎒📚 Welcome, Victory Christian Academy!

Yesterday marked an exciting milestone as Victory Christian Academy celebrated their first day of school in the St. Simon school building! 🎉

As they begin this new school year and make our campus their home, we invite our St. Simon parish family to keep the students, families, teachers, staff, and leadership of Victory Christian Academy in your prayers. 🙏

May God bless their school year with growth, learning, friendship, and many joyful memories. We look forward to supporting them and being good neighbors as they become part of our campus community.

Can we talk about sin? I know it’s not comfortable, but it’s necessary and helpful.

When something goes wrong: What’s your first reaction, what’s your best reaction, and how long does it take you to get from the one to the other?

The distance between our first reaction and our best reaction is the distance between the spiritual state we’re living in and the kingdom of heaven.

It gives us a sort of spiritual map of where we are and the route we need to take to grow in holiness.

There are so many situations in life about which we can say, "It’s not fair!" Even if that’s true, we still must ask ourselves: Will we pivot on that unfairness into complaining, or will we pivot — as Jesus did — into making the unfairness an offering?
