Deacon Thoughts Homilies and Reflections from a Catholic Deacon. My name is Deacon Phillip Uro. I am a happily married pro-life e5 man with a loving family.

I love God, my wife, my daughters, Mass, Adoration, Music Ministry, Youth Ministry, Dancing, Coaching, Knights of Columbus, & being a Deacon.

​I have a B.A. in Philosophy with a Concentration in Religious Studies from Mount Angel Seminary. After five years of formation with the Archdiocese of Saint Louis, I was ordained a Deacon on June 4, 2022. I'm currently assigned to serve the Parishioners

of Saints Joachim and Ann in Saint Charles, MO. I created this Page to help promote my blog "Deacon Thoughts," where I am posting my homilies and reflections.

Please pray for my mom, Bea Uro. She was admitted into the hospital because of high blood pressure issues. The doctor said the issue is being caused by congestive heart failure.
