Lindenwood Area Senior Ministry LASM is a partnership of 4 faith communities providing a variety home and community-based services to support older adults.

In 2006, five churches in the Lindenwood Park neighborhood recognized the growing needs of the senior adults in their community. They approached South Grand Senior Ministry (SGSM) with the hope of replicating SGSM’s model program in the Lindenwood community. After a year of consultation and the building out of core programs, Lindenwood Area Senior Ministry (LASM) became an independent entity in Ja

nuary 2008. LASM acheived its nonprofit status in 2009 and is proud to be a vital and growing ministry.

What a sweet afternoon! 🍉 Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Watermelon Social on August 17— these simple gatherings are exactly why community matters. We enjoyed great live music by The Big River Trio, and it was especially meaningful to recognize our retiring board chair, Larry Meyers, who was awarded a 2026 Community Service Award from the Senior Fund of St. Louis City.
