Feels like just yesterday we were saying ‘see ya later’...🥹❤️

Now another summer season is upon us and in just a week we’ll be welcoming back our summer staff for another great summer of ministry! In honor of their arrival, we want to take this week leading up to cover them in prayer. We as a staff can’t carry out this ministry alone- we need God’s strength empowering our every step and we need YOUR support in prayer. Would you commit to taking the time each day this week to praying for our staff?

WEEK OF PRAYER • DAY 1 • UNITY

Today we’re kicking it off by praying for unity and Christ-centered community among our staff this summer. Some friendships will be brand new, others will pick right back up where they left off — and we’re thankful for both.

Pray that our staff would encourage one another well and reflect the love of Christ in the way they live alongside each other this summer.

“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!”

Help us welcome Squad Leader Mylene Rodriguez to the Camp K team! 🥳

Here’s what we learned from her service record…

"I am currently a sophomore in college, majoring in Spanish. I work as a waitress at Cracker Barrel & in my free time I love to play sports, be outside, & travel. This summer I am working as a counselor. I decided to work at camp this summer because of how much I enjoyed working at Camp K the previous summer. I had the blessing of building many new friendships, learning so much more about myself & God, & of course dancing the cotton eye joe with my fellow staff every Thursday. This summer I am super excited to meet all of the girls God will send my way, listen to those who want to share, & grow even closer to my fellow staff. God is so good & I can’t wait to see what He has in store for this summer!"

Not long before we’re welcoming our staff back for another summer ❤️

One of the sweetest gifts of camp is the Christ-centered community God builds through it — people who encourage you, pray for you, and continually point you back to Jesus. There’s something so special about doing everyday life alongside fellow believers.

Scripture reminds us not to neglect gathering together, but to encourage one another in faith. We were never meant to do life alone 🤍

Tag a friend who consistently points you back to Christ.

Home of the free because of the brave. ❤️🤍💙

Today we remember and honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedom. Their courage and selflessness point us to the greatest sacrifice ever made — Jesus laying down His life on the cross so we could have eternal life through Him.

May we never take either sacrifice for granted.
