Isaiah 43:1-3a (NLT)
1) But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, "Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine.
2) When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.
3a) For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.

11) so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead!
12) I don't mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to posess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first posessed me.
13) No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not acchieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,
I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus is calling us.

29) "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all."
30) Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
31) Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

34) Mary asked the angel, "But how can this happen? I am a virgin."
35) The angel replied, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.
36) What's more, your relative Elizabeth has become pregnant in her old age! People used to say she was barren, but she has conceived a son and is now in her sixth month.
37) For the word of God will never fail."
38) Mary responded, "I am the Lord's servant. May everything you have said about me come true." And then the angel left her.
