We're on week 3 of our series, "To My Friend Who Left the Faith." Today we focused on Matthew 18:21-25, The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant.

Why do people leave the church?

Sometimes it's because they encountered hypocrisy—people who preached grace but lived by a different standard. This week, we looked at Jesus' parable of the unforgiving servant and discovered that hypocrisy isn't primarily a behavior problem; it's a grace problem.

When we forget the incredible debt God has forgiven, we start keeping score with others. But hearts that have truly received grace don't need to compete, compare, or condemn—they become generous, forgiving, and welcoming.

The good news is that God's grace is still real, still free, and still available. The King is still canceling debts, and the door is still open.
