Week 5: Presence, Prayer, Power
When you do what you’ve always done, you get what you’ve always gotten.
In Acts 3:1–12, a man who had been unable to walk his entire life expected Peter and John to give him a few coins. Instead, through the power of Jesus, he received something far greater—he walked!
It raises an important question for us:
Do we know Jesus, and if we do, are we living and operating in His name?
We can only get so far in our own power. Religion may give us structure and boundaries, but our relationship with Jesus is what transforms us and produces fruit in our lives.
The man came expecting another ordinary day. He left walking, leaping, and praising God.
What could change if we stopped settling for what we’ve always gotten and started trusting in what Jesus can do? ❤️
