Here's a delicious way to support our friends at Grace Lutheran Food Pantry!

On Tuesday, Nov. 3, "elect" to bring your family and friends to Culver’s (Wabash location only) from 5 to 8 p.m. — no flyer is needed — and they will donate a percentage to the food pantry.

The pantry reports it has seen a huge increase in clients, and it is blessed to help resource so many in our community thanks to our partnership. Your support is greatly appreciated!

Playing Reformation BINGO, "nailing" our values as a community of disciples up at the church entrance, wearing T shirts inspired by one of our Women of Peace WELCA circles, enjoying good food and company at our annual Oktoberfest potluck, worshipping together in Word and sacrament and praising God with our monthly contemporary service... this was a Reformation Sunday for the books!

'Tis the season for our annual collection for Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets for 20 families at Black Hawk Elementary School who could use a little extra cheer this holiday season.

This project is part of our longstanding relationship with Black Hawk, which also includes providing books for and volunteering in the school library. It also is a partnership with our friends at Grace Food Pantry and Historic Grace Lutheran Church, who provide baskets to families from McClernand and Franklin schools.

In addition to dropping off needed items in the narthex at Peace, you also are welcome to join us to pack and deliver the Thanksgiving baskets on Wednesday, Nov. 18, and the Christmas baskets on Wednesday, Dec. 16.
