Greetings Camp Creek Church family and freinds!

I hope you have had a great week! The Lord has given us some nice late August weather with cooler temperatures and clearer skies! Thank you, Lord! The Lord has also given us some wonderful OUTDOOR WORSHIP gatherings this summer! Thank you again, Lord! We will join together one last time this Sunday for our outside service. I hope you can join us! Here's the schedule for the day ...

- Worship Team Practice @ 8:45 am
- Share & Prayer Time in the Fellowship Hall @ 9:00 am
- Outdoor Worship w/ Jr. Church @ 10:00 am
- Prayer for our Nation at the cross right after the service
- Coffee Fellowship in the Fellowship Hall right after the service

A NOTE ABOUT COFFEE FELLOWSHIP: Please bring a plate of goodies to share. We have ice cream in the freezer that we will be serving to go along with the items you bring.

Also, please be praying for the Project Hope Kid's Fair that a number of folks from our church will be serving at this Saturday, August 29th. The event is at Maple Elementary School where the kids will come to receive new shoes, socks, back packs, and school supplies. It is a "carnival like" atmosphere with games, food, haircuts, and more. We will be serving "cups of cold water" at the event in the name of Jesus. Pray for great opportunities to share Jesus' love in both word and deed.

As we gather for OUTDOOR WORSHIP this Sunday (only 2 Sundays left after this week), Roy & Jenny Ramble with RAJ Ministries in India will be with us! They will share an update on their ministry during the service and then will be available after church and during the Memorial Tribute for Shirley. If you would like to give a love offering for their ministry, please make your check payable to "RAJ Ministries" and place it in the offering box. Thanks in advance!

After OUTDOOR WORSHIP, at around 11:30 am, we will gather in the Fellowship Hall to remember Shirley Petersen. We will begin our time enjoying some refreshments (please bring a plate of goodies to share if you are able) and then we will have a casual service of remembrance - singing some of Shirley's favorite songs and hearing her favorite Scriptures. Roy and Jenny will share their remembrances of Shirley and the connection between RAJ Ministries and Camp Creek Church. Everyone is invited to join us!

As Summer winds down, Fall is just around the corner. Be sure to check out the Sunday Church Bulletin on our church website (campcreekchurch.com) for a peek at some of the events and activities that will coming up before you know it.

Greetings Camp Creek Church family and friends!

We had a wonderful week of VBS as we journeyed to Emerald Crossing and learned about how the Lord is our Good Shepherd! We came away from our journey knowing how much God loves and cares for us! We also came away being able to recite Psalm 23 verbally and with sign language. We had a great group of kids (an enrollment of 77) and an amazing group of teen and adult leaders and helpers (37 in all)! We praise God for those who made first-time decisions for the Lord and for those who made renewed commitments to Him. May the Lord remind each one of the wonderful truths we learned this week. THANKS to all of you for your support in so many, many ways!

We only have 3 more OUTDOOR WORSHIP services after this Sunday so be sure to invite some folks to join you for these special times in the great outdoors. We are grateful that the smoke is clearing and the temperatures are cooling so we can enjoy a nice gathering this Sunday! Thank you, Lord!

This Sunday we will continue the sign-ups for Project Hope which includes the workday at Walterville School on August 22nd and the Kid's Fair at Maple Elementary in town on August 29th. Thanks to those who already signed up!

Greetings Camp Creek Church family and friends!

I hope the week has gone well for you and that you are enjoying your summer! I look forward to being with you this coming Sunday, August 2nd! It's hard to believe that it will be August already! Here's what's in store for our gathering on Sunday ...

8:00 am - Set-Up for Outdoor Worship (Thanks to all who have
been helping with this!)
8:45 am - Worship Team Practice
9:00 am - Share & Prayer Time @ the Fellowship Hall ... The
coffee's on and the prayers are flowing! All invited!
10:00 am - Outdoor Worship & Communion w/ Jr. Church for the
children (Recorded service will be online next week)

Then, on Sunay evening ...

6:00 pm - VBS Set-up and a few, last minute craft preparations

Thank you to everyone who has been working hard on VBS over the past couple of weeks! All of your support is very much appreciated! On Sunday, right after church, we will do a quick set-up of tables and chairs under the big tent and behind the sanctuary building. A final set-up will happen Sunday evening at 6:00 pm where we also have a final craft project to complete. If you are available to help, that would be great! Please PRAY for our week of VBS - for safety and protection, for fun and learning, and for hearts to be open to the Gospel message. Thank you!

Looking ahead in August, we have our PROJECT HOPE outreaches: August 22nd is the workday at Walterville School and August 29th is the Kid's Fair at Maple Elementary in town. Volunteer sign-ups begin this coming Sunday. Project Hope is a great way to engage with and encourage our local schools as well as love and support the families. If you've never volunteered for this before, I encourage you to give it a try! You will be blessed!

VBS is happening at Camp Creek Church next week, August 3-7, from 9 am - 12 noon for all 4 year-olds through those entering 6th grade. You can register online at campcreekchurch.com by clicking on the VBS tab or by stopping by the church for a registration form. - Baby Shower for Emily (Nelson) Oliver ...

Here's the info from the church bulletin:

Ladies, please join us for a baby shower to welcome Tyler & Emily (Nelson) Oliver’s little boy, Hudson, due August 31st. Their shower will be Saturday, July 25th at 11:30 in the Fellowship Hall. A light lunch will be served. There will be a diaper raffle (any size & Kirkland is Emily’s preferred brand). She is registered at Target as Emily Oliver and also registered at Amazon. You’ll find her listed as Emily "Oiver” on Amazon. (Several Emily Oliver’s so a different spelling). If shopping isn’t something you enjoy, we’ll have a little box you can easily drop some cash into to bless the family.
