Join your fellow UUs in the Juneteenth Parade tomorrow. The Parade line up begins at 9:00am. Procession starts at 10:00am

The Parade route begins at the Capitol City Elk's Lodge (1809 E Brown St, Springfield), and we will walk North on Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK) Blvd and finishing at Comer Cox Park.

Rev. Woulfe will be there with BLM & Juneteenth banners available plus an ALUUC banner no later than 9:30

** If possible, we will arrange for drivers to drop off parade walkers at the starting point - check in at the UU booth as soon as possible!

If you park near the Capital City Elk's Lodge and join the parade from there, we will designate a driver to get you back to your car after you arrive at Comer Cox Park.

Pulse was more than a nightclub. It was a place of joy, belonging, community, and refuge. We honor those whose lives were taken 10 years ago on June 12, 2016, and we hold close the survivors, loved ones, and LGBTQIA+ communities forever changed by that night.

May their memory continue to call us toward a world where every person can live openly, safely, and fully as themselves.
