Church family, September and October are packed with incredible opportunities for us to love people, serve together, and make an impact for Jesus! There is a place for EVERYONE to get involved!

📅 SAVE A SEAT SUNDAY — September 27th
Who are you inviting? Be intentional! Save a seat for a friend, neighbor, coworker, or family member and invite them to worship with us. Then stick around for our Potluck after the service! Come worship, fellowship, and help someone discover a place to belong!

📦 COLLEGE STUDENT CARE PACKAGES — Items due September 27th
Let’s remind our college students that their church family hasn’t forgotten them! Help us fill care packages with encouragement and a little taste of home while letting these students know that we care, we support, and we pray for them!

🎒 CHRISTMAS BACKPACKS FOR CHILDREN & TEENS — Collection Date: October 11th
We have a BIG goal this year — 100 BACKPACKS! These backpacks will help us share the love of Jesus with children and teenagers in Tennessee this Christmas. Pick up the list of suggested items in the bulletin, fill a backpack, or help provide items. Every backpack is an opportunity to bless a child and point them toward Jesus!

🌶️ OPEN DOOR PREGNANCY CENTER CHILI CHALLENGE — October 22nd
Our Barren Plains Baptist Students are participating, and we need our entire church family behind them! Sign up to serve, set up, clean up, encourage, and help wherever needed. Many hands can make a BIG impact!

❤️ CHURCH, THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE TO BE ON MISSION!

These aren't simply events we're adding to the church calendar. These are opportunities for ministry.

An opportunity to INVITE someone.
An opportunity to ENCOURAGE a student.
An opportunity to BLESS a child.
An opportunity to SERVE our community.
An opportunity to SHARE THE LOVE OF JESUS!

So mark your calendars, make your plans, bring your family, and SIGN UP TO HELP!

We don't want to simply be a church that talks about making a difference. We want to be a church that shows up and makes a difference!

Tonight, our BP Students experienced something special during Bible study—Prayer Stations! 🙏🔥

Instead of just talking about prayer, our students had the opportunity to slow down, reflect, pray, and spend intentional time with God. It was such a blessing to see them engage, open their hearts, and seek God together.
