Genesis 20

10/28/2026

Happy Wednesday,

“And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. ”
Romans 12:1 NLT

In this verse, Paul makes a plea to the early Christians and to us today to give our bodies unto the Lord. This includes or mind and our spirit. Paul is urging us to give all of ourselves unto the Lord. In the ancient times, they would take a clean animal, kill it, and offer it as a sacrifice unto the Lord. When Jesus came on earth, He died, and offered Himself as the ultimate sacrifice for humanity. Therefore, we no longer need to kill an animal. But, now we are asked to be a living sacrifice. A sacrifice that is clean and holy before the Lord Jesus Christ. And in this way, He will find us acceptable and approve our worship.

Today, know that as a Christian, our mind, body, and spirit needs to be devoted to the Lord. We can't just offer our minds and yet our body is filled with filth or we can take care of our bodies but our minds are on things that displeases the Lord. God has given us all of Himself and He is asking for us to give all of ourselves. Is there an area in your life that you haven't surrendered unto the Lord? Will you make the decision today to give the Lord Jesus Christ, all of you? I pray that you do so that you will please Him and He will find you and your worship acceptable. Amen 🙌🏽.

All are welcome to join us this evening for Sitting At The Spring Bible Study at 7pm on Facebook and Zoom. Let us grow together in God's word. Link to follow.

Happy Tuesday,

“For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.”
Romans 11:36 NLT

The bible tells us that EVERYTHING comes from the Lord and exists by His power. Some may believe that people and things just happen to exist by circumstance. But, the bible declares that everything and everyone was created for God's glory. Take a moment to reflect on this for a moment. You, yes you were created by the almighty one. You exist not because you fought really hard to be here but because it is by God's power and will for you to be here 🙌🏽.

The enemy may have lied to you and said you are an accident and you don't have a purpose. Rebuke those deceiving spirits attacking your thoughts. The Lord Jesus Christ doesn't make mistakes. He made you just for Him. When He looks at you, He sees a masterpiece that reflects His glory. I pray that you receive this word, walk in it and give God praise for it. Hallelujah 🙌🏽.

All are welcome to join us this evening for Power Prayer Tuesday at 8pm on Zoom. Let us strengthen one another through prayer. Link to follow.

Happy Monday,

“Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!”
Romans 11:33 NLT

In this chapter, Paul shows us God’s complicated plan to save both Jews and Gentiles. It may seem complicated because it is above human thoughts. As people, our thoughts are based on our experiences, our own reasoning, and what we've been taught. But, Paul teaches us that God's views, His ways, His decisions are above our thoughts and comprehension. They don't always make sense based on what we believe to be fair or just. Yet, know that our eternal God is omniscient. He is all-knowing, He is just, and He is good.

Today, we live in a day where we think we must know everything and understand why to all things. But, that is not always possible. We may not always understand why certain things are allowed to happen. Our flesh may even question if God sees and hears what is happening to us and around us. But know that the almighty, powerful God sees it all and He's in full control. And His ways, His decisions are beyond us and are part of His divine plan. Therefore, let us place our faith, our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and ask Him to give us His wisdom and understanding. Amen.

Happy Friday,

“For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn. ”
Romans 11:29 NLT

In this verse, Paul is referring to the people of Israel in the ancient times. Many became followers of Jesus, but there were many who did not. Paul says although some chose not to believe, God still loved them because He chose them because of their ancestors Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. And for this reason, God's gifts and His purpose will not be withdrawn from them 🙌🏽.

The scriptures shows us that God's promises, goodness and faithfulness is not contingent on us being perfect. God was and still is gracious to the Israelites who don't believe. His arms are always open to give them an opportunity to turn to Jesus. When they do this, they will be restored and reap all the promises that was promised to their ancestors. It's the same for us today, whether we are Isrealites or not. There may have been a time when we didn't believe, or had fallen short. But, the Lord Jesus has his arms opened wide, ready and willing to take us back into the fold, restore us, and fulfill His promise to us. As long as we have breath in our lungs it is not too late. Therefore, choose Jesus today while you still have time to do so. Amen.

All are welcome to join is this Sunday at Spring City Church of God at 10:45am for a powerful service and encourage all those attending to wear pink on behalf of breast cancer awareness month. In the evening, we will be participating in the PA Women's Conference. See flyer for information. Have a blessed weekend in Jesus' name.

Happy Thursday,

“And if the people of Israel turn from their unbelief, they will be grafted in again, for God has the power to graft them back into the tree. ”
Romans 11:23 NLT

The bible tells us that there were many Israelites who did not believe that that Jesus Christ was the Messiah. Because of their unbelief, they were cut off from the Lord and his promises just as a branch can be cut off from a tree. However, this is not their end. If and when they choose to believe in Jesus, He will not turn them away but will graft them back in to the tree of life.

Today, there are some of us that may have gone or may be currently going through a season of unbelief. Know that unbelief equates to disobedience. There is no salvation for those who do not believe in Jesus Christ. However, God in His mercy and grace will "graft" you back in if you believe. If you believe, then you have been grafted into the Lord, praise God 🙌🏽. Continue to live by faith and walk in the ways of the Lord Jesus. If you have unbelief, I pray that you would surrender to the Lord. Don't wait for tomorrow, next week, or for when your circumstances to change. Instead, surrender your heart to the Lord at this very moment and He will surely take you graft you back in. Amen.

If you have given your complete heart to Jesus, respond to this message. So that I and others can rejoice in the Lord for the decision you have made. Amen 🙏🏽.
