Parenting is hard. And that’s true whether you’re losing sleep from nighttime feedings or worries over your kid’s future.

But like all phases of life, parenting should not be done alone.

At Iron Works, we want to root for you. To pray faithfully for you and your children. To compare notes on how we dealt with this phase and what we wish we'd done differently.

Ultimately, we know that our Father in heaven is with us through these long days and short years. Let us walk with you, too, and we’ll seek wisdom together.

Iron Works is a community of very different people united by our need for the saving work of Christ. We are liberal and conservative. Artists and statisticians. Stay-at-home moms and working moms. Economically comfortable and living paycheck-to-paycheck. Together we seek to glorify God and enjoy him forever.

Whether it’s your first time in church, your first time in a long while, or part of your regular rhythm, if you visit, we aim to show you all the hospitality of Christ.

Celebrate the long-awaited Messiah at a candlelit Christmas Eve service at 6:30pm on Dec. 24. We'll be singing songs old and new, hearing a short teaching reminding us of the miracle of God come to earth, and enjoying cookies and coffee together afterwards.

We believe church is for kids, that we adults lose out if we don’t learn to worship alongside them. That’s why the first Sunday of the month around here is known as Doodle Sunday—a special time for all preschool and school-age kids to stay in the service with the grownups.

Kids get to worship through intentional dancing and singing during the music. They get their own worship guide for the day, where they can draw and color in response to parts of the sermon set aside specifically for them. And at the end, if they’ve listened well, they get a prize that further helps them remember the lesson of the sermon.

On Doodle Sundays, adults learn, too—we learn to look beyond ourselves for the needs of kids, to benefit from the richness of having them in our community. And we get a chance to live out our commitment to help raise these kids who are a valued part of our church family.

The church, much more than just a building or a particular service, is people: worshiping together, serving our town, and growing together.

We know that regardless of our differences—political, racial, economic, you name it—we are all united in our need for the saving work of Jesus.

Don’t believe as we do? No problem. We, too, come from a history of questioning and examination, and we’d love to walk with you as you seek answers.

We believe God hears the prayers of his people, that all of Heaven inclines its ear when we pray. That's why we regularly unite to make our requests known.

We come with joy and boldness.

We come in weakness, feeling our shortcomings and weariness.

We give thanks that God doesn't call perfect people— he calls those who have reached the end of themselves, people who feel their need of him.
