“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together…but encouraging one another.” — Hebrews 10:23–25
There’s a reason these verses belong together.
Hold onto hope. Encourage one another. Keep gathering.
We gather because we need each other. To worship together, remind each other what is true, and help each other keep finding and following Jesus.
So thankful for our Church family. ❤️

Still smiling from Community Sunday!❤️
There were SO many great photos, we decided a photo dump was definitely in order. 📸
Thanks again, Church family, for hanging out, lingering a little longer, having conversations, meeting someone new, and taking the time to hear each other’s stories.
Can’t wait to see y’all Sunday!

On August 1, Trina and Steen Hudson lost their home in the fires. Trina is part of our staff here at Life Center.
On August 27, they had the opportunity to return to their property with a team from Samaritan’s Purse to search through the ashes for anything that might remain.
Trina shared this afterward:
“Our time with Samaritan’s Purse is something we will never forget. The sheer number of people, all volunteers, who were willing to suit up in Tyvek in the blistering heat simply to help us was incredible.
That morning I read Isaiah 45:3: ‘I will give you the treasures of darkness and riches hidden in secret places, so that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, who call you by your name.’
This was the promise Steen and I were believing and the prayer we were praying over our time together. And the Lord did just that. He gave us precious ‘treasures’ from the ash. Broken, singed reminders that we are known and loved by our great God who calls us by name.”
Trina and Steen, thank you for letting us into such a personal moment. Thank you for being vulnerable and for showing us what it looks like to keep Jesus at the center, even in the middle of unimaginable loss and chaos. ❤️

“You don’t have to be a biblical scholar to join a Group. You just have to want a closer relationship with God.” ❤️ - Life Center Group Member. Following Jesus was never meant to be something we do alone.
Last week, 150+ Group Leaders gathered for our annual Group Leader Conference to reset, refocus, and get ready for another year of Groups. We talked about what it means to lead well, make disciples, and help people take their next step with Jesus.
Groups are always open. No experience required. Just come as you are and find some people to grow with.

“We are a ministry of presence.” If you’ve been to Life Center lately, you’ve probably noticed a few extra trailers in the parking lot… 😄 Have you wondered what they’re used for?
Here’s a quick look at what’s happening behind the scenes as Samaritan’s Purse continues serving families impacted by the wildfires.
Tools. Response vehicles. A full kitchen. Showers. Sleeping space for volunteers. And a whole lot of people working hard to remind our neighbors: you are not alone.

1️⃣ United in Prayer 🙏
When the fires hit, we gathered — in homes and in hearts — asking God for protection over our city and comfort for every family affected. Leaning on Him together for Spokane's healing.

2️⃣ Hosting Samaritan's Purse 🧡
Our building is buzzing around the clock as we host Samaritan's Purse — sending volunteers out daily to help families sift through the ashes and start rebuilding. This is the church being the church.

3️⃣ North of 55 🎉
Community looks good on every generation! North of 55 brought the smiles, the stories, and the Spirit as we gathered together again.

4️⃣ Made to Work 🔨
Three weeks. One powerful truth: you were made to work — and when Jesus is your boss, even the ordinary becomes extraordinary.

5️⃣ Baptisms 💧
God is moving! 14 people took a bold step of faith this month, publicly declaring their yes to Jesus through baptism.

6️⃣ Community Sunday 🚗
What a day! Over 2,000 people packed out Community Sunday for a car show, bounce toys, games, and so much fun — and 43 people said YES to Jesus!

7️⃣ Group Leader Conference 👥
Behind every thriving Group is a leader who said yes. We gathered our Group Leaders together to cast vision and get ready for a year of real connection and growth.

8️⃣ This Is How We Follow Jesus ❤️
1,116 people served 2,790 hours at 32 locations across Spokane during Love Week — this is what it looks like to give our lives away!
