We are going to take a look at the ways Jesus dealt with the upcoming suffering of the cross and how that impacts us. Is suffering only a challenge or something wrong that needs to be set right? How did Jesus understand suffering, and how should we?

Freedom. What comes to mind when you hear freedom? Freedom from anxiety, sickness, financial stress, fear? We all want freedom. The desire was the same 2,000 years ago when Jesus was walking on earth. So what was Jesus' response to our fears, anxieties, stresses? When our world falls apart, will we still have faith?

Will you still believe in the goodness of God? Will you still know that He is for you? Will you still have faith?

In the passage we are reading Sunday morning, Jesus is looking into the future and telling people that some very horrible things will be happening to them in the years to come.

Join us this Sunday to be encouraged to look up, to listen carefully, and follow Jesus courageously.
