Recently, five of our Sunday School children had the opportunity to visit Heaven’s Bounty Food Pantry and put their faith into action through service!

Our young helpers worked hard checking expiration dates on donated food, weighing donations, stocking shelves, and packing summer snack bags for children in our community. As a thank you for their dedication and the mission projects they completed to raise money for Heaven’s Bounty, the children were treated to pizza and given a special tour of the pantry.

Be on the lookout for Addie, who will be sharing a report with the congregation about their experience in the near future.

The children also helped weigh this week’s food donations from our church, which totaled an impressive 77 pounds! Thanks to the generosity of our congregation, we are getting closer and closer to our goal of donating 6,000 pounds of food.

What a blessing it is to see our children learning the joy of serving others and making a difference in our community. Thank you to everyone who continues to support this important ministry!
