When survivors leave unsafe situations, they often leave with very little, sometimes nothing at all. That means starting over from scratch, including the basics many of us take for granted.
Gift cards provide immediate, flexible support, allowing survivors to buy food, personal items, clothing, and other essentials right when they need them most.

Call our office at 662-253-9252 for more information or to set up a drop-off time.

Located in the Square, while you are out shopping for your fresh fruits and local produce, be sure to stop by the House of Grace tent to say hello. Domestic violence does not care about age, background, or gender. It impacts mothers, it impacts fathers, and it deeply impacts the children watching from their arms.

Because abuse can happen to anyone, House of Grace is proud to be a domestic violence shelter that welcomes everyone. We believe that every survivor deserves a secure foundation to start over.

If you are currently in an unsafe situation and trying to figure out how to protect yourself and your family, we want you to know exactly what to expect when you look to us for shelter.

Lifetime Homelessness Risk: Approximately 38% of all domestic abuse victims will experience housing instability or homelessness at some point in their lives due to the ripple effects of abuse (Sullivan et al., 2022).

At House of Grace, we want to change this. No one should experience housing insecurity. No one should wonder where they will sleep at night, and no one should have to choose between staying with a dangerous abuser or finding a safe place to live.
If you or someone you know is experiencing homelessness due to domestic violence, call our crisis line at 662-342-1432.

Prom is a big milestone, but it doesn't mean you should change who you are. Your boundaries belong to you, and any respectful partner or friend will respect that.
Be prepared. Identify a trusted adult you can turn to, and know that no one should feel afraid or nervous around a partner.

Technology can be empowering, but in the wrong hands, it can also become a tool of control.
More and more survivors are discovering that their cars are being used to track them through built-in GPS systems, Bluetooth apps, shared accounts, and hidden devices.
Abusers are finding new ways to monitor, stalk, and intimidate, which means we must keep learning, educating, and staying one step ahead.
Our latest blog explains:
How car systems can be misused. Signs someone may be tracking you. Safety steps you can take. Where to get help

This isn’t about fear, it’s about awareness and safety.
