Support Our World Youth Day Pilgrims!

Join us next Saturday, June 20th, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and help support the young adults from our six parishes as they prepare for their pilgrimage to World Youth Day in South Korea!

Your donations will help offset travel expenses and make this life-changing faith journey possible for our young people. Every contribution, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated.

"His Mission, My Heart: A Week to Change the World"

This week's CSI theme reminds us to go where God leads and to serve with hearts open to His mission.

Our amazing teenagers from Christ the King and Queen of Peace have spent the week serving alongside Sacred Heart Southern Mission, putting their faith into action. Today, they completed a deck and stairs project, making a real difference for a family in need. Their hard work, dedication, and willingness to serve have been an inspiring witness to God's love.

A special thank you to our adult volunteers from St. Joseph, QP, and CTK who generously gave their time, talents, and support throughout the week. Your servant leadership helped make this project possible.

Together, we have seen what can happen when hearts answer God's call. One week. Many hands. Countless blessings. A week to change the world.

Tomorrow is the day for our Six Parish Event at St. Joseph Catholic Church!

Join us for an afternoon of faith, fellowship, fun, and food!

Mass begins at 3:00 PM and will be led by our youth.

Enjoy lots of games and activities for all ages.
Delicious food lovingly prepared by our parishioners.
Over 20 door prizes will be given away throughout the event!

Please pray for our group preparing for World Youth Day 2027. We will start fundraising soon!

PREPARING FOR WYD 2027! Last night our pilgrim group from Mississippi had its first meeting in preparation for the next World Youth Day, which will take place in Seoul, South Korea, from August 3-8, 2027. 17 young people from Dehonian parishes in Mississippi will take part. Other Dehonian groups are being formed in Houston and Wisconsin.

OFFICIAL PRAYER FOR WYD 2027:

Loving Lord of all young people,
we thank you for inviting us into your infinite love and mercy.

Our Father, we entrust ourselves to you.
May young people everywhere be comforted in the embrace of your Church,
and come to share deeply in the joy of communion and unity.

Lord Jesus Christ, you overcome the world, both now and forever.
May all people discover the hope that lies in your call to take courage,
realizing that the cross of love and forgiveness is the true victory over the world.

Oh Holy Spirit, Flame of Love,
by your wonderous hand
you have sown the seeds of faith in Korea.
Kindle the flame of the Korean martyrs’ faith in our hearts,
making us into disciples who live out the gospel of peace, love, and truth.

Lord, we pray that through this pilgrim journey of World Youth Day
we may listen to each other, discern your will,
and become a synodal Church, walking together with all of God’s people. Amen.
