Last Sunday's sermon, "Your Talk With Jesus." Do you talk to Jesus? The Bible clearly tells us that you should. In Matthew 6:5-15, Jesus teaches us what to say. The instruction was necessary because His people were seeing and following bad examples of how to pray. When you pray, you should go to Him in FAITH, HUMILITY, AND SINCERITY. Faith says that you believe in the power of the one being prayed to. Humility says you know that you don't deserve what you are asking for. And sincerity says that you know that you MUST give something in order to get something- FORGIVENESS. It is the only part of the model prayer with a promise and a consequence. Faith shows your confidence in Him. Humility gets His attention. Sincerity insures your commitment to doing your part. Don't engage in meaningless conversations with people who can't help you. Come to Jesus in Faith, Humility, and Sincerity! Be blessed, God loves you!

Sermon today, "You Have Been Kept." Isaiah 41:10-13. Isaiah reminds the Israelites that the God of their forefathers has kept them. Because they have been kept, they should speak and live with CONVICTION about what God has done; The should listen to God's COUNSEL, and we should know that we live in God's COMFORT. As children of God, we've been kept! By Jesus blood, we have been covered!

Sunday's sermon, Expecting my greater glory! Romans 8:12-19.
Paul tells us that, the sufferings of this present time is not worthy to be compared to the glory that will be revealed in us. Because we share in Jesus's suffering, we will also share in His glory. Our expectation of a greater glory is because of God's grace and mercy, we have been adopted, we have become heirs, and we can expect the greatest glory.
We are in need of adoption because all have sinned. This adoption means that we are no longer debtors to the flesh. Because we have been adopted, God has made us not just heirs but co-heirs with Jesus. When we share in His suffering by suffering because of our acceptance of Him, God has made us equal heirs to Jesus. Because we have been adopted and are co-heirs, we can expect the greatest glory to come. Ain't God AWESOME!!!
