Souderton Mennonite Church At SMC you'll find people of all ages seeking to live out the transforming love of God as they worship God and care for their community and one another.

We believe that God desires to develop a thriving center of Anabaptist mission and ministry at SMC that is multiplying Christ's love by drawing persons to Christ, helping them to grow in grace as followers of Jesus and preparing them for fruitful ministry as we seek to be an equipping church in the Indian Valley and surrounding regions. Souderton Mennonite Church is strategically positioned at the

corner of Chestnut Street and Wile Avenue and in the Indian Valley region to serve God's mission for this time and in this place. God is gathering a diverse but purposeful and prayerful group of persons spanning all age groups as well as a variety of backgrounds to share God's love with our community.

We’re so grateful for the beautiful weather this past Sunday and for the wonderful time of worship and fellowship we shared together in the park! From our worship service and picnic lunch to the piñata and intergenerational game of kickball, it was most definitely a joy-filled day. We’re thankful for the ways God continues to strengthen our connections with Christ and with one another as a church family.

On Saturday, the Women's Ministry had a lovely morning strengthening friendships and enjoying the beauty of fresh flowers! Thank you to Berdine for hosting this flower arranging event and a special shout out to Freed's Produce for supplying the prettiest flowers for each beautiful bouquet that was made!

On our final Senior High Youth Group Local Summer Service Day we wrapped up VBS with another fun morning of praising God, doing crafts, playing games, and lots of laughs with our VBS buddies. We were sad to have to say goodbye to our new friends at the end of the morning. But, we got to head out for lunch hitting (or sometimes missing) golf balls together at TopGolf and that raised our spirits!

We had such an amazing week at Rainforest Falls VBS! We are incredibly grateful for every child who joined us as we learned about the nature of God, and enjoyed a week full of fun, laughter and friendships.

Thank you to all the children and their families who donated money and school supplies for our service project benefiting our local Boys & Girls Club.
And an extra-big thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who gave their time and energy to make this week memorable and full of strengthening meaningful connections!

Day 4 of our Senior High Youth Summer Service Week landed us back with our VBS buddies praising God and having fun! We had a delicious lunch at Masala Twist in Souderton (and we were also given an incredibly warm welcome from the staff there!). Later we served at The Bean Bag Food Program where despite our silliness and slight fatigue after our busy week we actually got a lot accomplished!

Day 3 of our senior high youth summer service week found us back in the rainforest for crafts, games, singing, stories, prayer and more at SMC’s VBS. From there we enjoyed a delicious al fresco lunch at The Burger Shop. Yum! In the afternoon we served at Worthwhile Thrift. And we rounded out the day with a quick snack stop at Wawa!

We are halfway through our week here at Rainforest Falls VBS and so far it has been a blast! On day 1 the kids learned about how God is our creator and on day 2 they learned that God is our safe place. Along with these bible lessons, they have gotten to enjoy some very tasty snacks, super fun games and cool crafts! We look forward to the next two days and all the exciting activities in store!
