Souderton Mennonite Church At SMC you'll find people of all ages seeking to live out the transforming love of God as they worship God and care for their community and one another.

We believe that God desires to develop a thriving center of Anabaptist mission and ministry at SMC that is multiplying Christ's love by drawing persons to Christ, helping them to grow in grace as followers of Jesus and preparing them for fruitful ministry as we seek to be an equipping church in the Indian Valley and surrounding regions. Souderton Mennonite Church is strategically positioned at the

corner of Chestnut Street and Wile Avenue and in the Indian Valley region to serve God's mission for this time and in this place. God is gathering a diverse but purposeful and prayerful group of persons spanning all age groups as well as a variety of backgrounds to share God's love with our community.

Our congregation has been enjoying continuing to Strengthen Meaningful Connections with each other through activities donated to and purchased at our annual youth auction back in February. We've gone trout fishing, learned how to make pies, played Uno, trekked through NYC, washed cars, babysat, enjoyed progressive dinners and more!

We thank God for a special day at SMC this past Sunday as we welcomed 9 new members into our church family! It was a joy to hear each of their faith stories, and to witness 3 of these new members publicly declare their faith through baptism.
Afterwards we shared a wonderful time of fellowship and strengthening meaningful connections as we celebrated together at Branchwood Creek park!

On Monday, our middle school youth group supplied 265 Gatorades and Cliff Bars to the track teams of Indian Crest, Indian Valley, and Dock for their track tri-meet. Our youth leaders and members of our congregation joined us to cheer on the athletes and some of our high school track team members helped out running the meet as well. What fun time of connecting with our community together!

The Young Adult Ladies Flower Picking event has been postponed again due to the status of the flowers! Young adult ladies are invited to meet at SMC, immediately following Sunday School on July 12, we will then head to Maple Acres Farm together. We look forward to a fun, flower filled afternoon of fellowship and we hope you will join!

We are so excited to welcome 9 new members this Sunday, 3 of whom will be baptized following the worship service! We look forward to hearing each of their faith stories during the worship service, then, immediately following worship (no Sunday School), we will all make our way to the creek at Branchwood Park (984 Camp Rd, Telford, PA 18969) for the baptisms. All are welcome and encouraged to join for the baptism at Branchwood Park, which will be followed by a time of fellowship with coffee and donuts. We also invite you to bring a bag lunch and stay afterwards to continue strengthening meaningful connections!
