Souderton Mennonite Church At SMC you'll find people of all ages seeking to live out the transforming love of God as they worship God and care for their community and one another.

We believe that God desires to develop a thriving center of Anabaptist mission and ministry at SMC that is multiplying Christ's love by drawing persons to Christ, helping them to grow in grace as followers of Jesus and preparing them for fruitful ministry as we seek to be an equipping church in the Indian Valley and surrounding regions. Souderton Mennonite Church is strategically positioned at the

corner of Chestnut Street and Wile Avenue and in the Indian Valley region to serve God's mission for this time and in this place. God is gathering a diverse but purposeful and prayerful group of persons spanning all age groups as well as a variety of backgrounds to share God's love with our community.

Join several of the local Souderton Area Churches for a Community Worship Experience, Sunday, June 28 at Souderton Community Park on the corner of Wile Ave. & Reliance Road. Free Donuts and Water Bottles will be available at 9:30am and the Pre-Service Music will begin at 9:45am followed by the Family Worship Service at 10am. A monetary offering will be received for Keystone Opportunity Center & Bridge Of Hope. All are welcome and we hope you will join us!

Join us Sunday mornings at 10:45 for a summer Sunday School elective exploring the practice of Christian discernment in a complex world. While the Bible does not directly address many thorny current questions, we are called to have the mind of Christ in how we respond to them. The class will reflect on how Anabaptist Christians can approach difficult issues that do not have obvious answers. Together we will learn how to read the Bible with care, listen prayerfully for the Spirit, and process challenging questions as a community shaped by the cross. Through discussion and real-world examples, we will explore what it means to think with a cross-shaped imagination and to become a people formed by love. All are welcome to join!

Our congregation has been enjoying continuing to Strengthen Meaningful Connections with each other through activities donated to and purchased at our annual youth auction back in February. We've gone trout fishing, learned how to make pies, played Uno, trekked through NYC, washed cars, babysat, enjoyed progressive dinners and more!
