SMC Kid Connections had a fun time at this year’s Christmas Party! The kids enjoyed some holiday themed games along with decorating gingerbread houses and ornaments. At the start of the evening, the kids packed care bags that will go to some of our church family living at retirement homes. They also heard a story that highlighted the true meaning of Christmas. The kids caroled and gave out treats to the SMC choir as well. It was a great night! 🎄

Last week was our Dance Camp where we created together and learned about how God’s love never fails. Children enjoyed lots of crafts, technique classes, devotions, learning worship dance choreography and playing dance games.
Our last camp for the season is our Splash Kid Connections Camp (VBS reimagined). To register, email Sarah Scorzetti (email address at the bottom of the camp flyer).

Highlights from our Sports Camp this past week. The kids had lots of fun playing all different kinds of sports while learning about God.
Spots are still available in our Dance Camp for 1st-5th graders next week and in our Splash Kid Connections Camp for 4 year olds to 5th graders. Contact Sarah (email at bottom of camp flyer) to register.

Last week, we had the privilege of running a Creative Movement Camp for 17 3 year olds-Kindergarteners. Our theme was “God is Our Good Shepherd”. We learned about how God loves, cares and protects us. We had so much fun dancing, playing and crafting together.

Today in the Children’s Dept, we celebrated our 5th graders. Congratulations Lucah, Reese, Janae, Caleb, Emerson and Trevor. We wish you all the best! 🎉

We had a fun Kid Connections Spring Fling tonight! The night was filled with Spring themed games and stories. The kids painted some beautifully colorful flower pots. We had a special time honoring our 5th graders and celebrated them with some yummy cake!

We had a wonderful Easter Celebration last Saturday. Making Jesus egg carton story kits, yummy snacks, photo booth, crafts, children’s story and even an indoor egg hunt! Great way to kick off Holy Week. Thanks to all of our amazing volunteers who made this event possible. 🌷🐣🌸

SMC Kid Connections Christmas Party 2021! We got into the Christmas spirit by making ornaments, decorating cookies, hearing a story on the true meaning of Christmas, playing games and making care bags for our Souderton Mennonite Home friends. Such a fun time! 🎁☃️❄️🎄
