Today we concluded our Genesis series with a review of the whole book.

"Ultimately, Genesis is about Jesus. He is the Word made flesh, the seed of the Woman, the wounded victor. He is the son of Abraham, the son of David, the Lion of Judah, the last Adam, our righteousness, our resurrection, our Redeemer. He is the Alpha and Omega, the uncaused first cause and the unending last end of all things."

This past month we said goodbye to some dear friends and members of our church. One family moved over to TX, another down to teach at West Point, and our brother Wayne went to be with Jesus. So thankful for the season God allowed us to have with them all.

On June 7th we will begin our summer series. For three months we will be studying Proverbs together. It is our desire to apply God's practical wisdom to specific areas of life as we seek to maximize our lives for His glory and for the good of those He's placed in our lives.

It's been a busy week over here on our property as we update our HVAC system. Thank God we will have AC just in time for summer!

There are many striking similarities between the blood-stained robe and the blood-stained cross, between Joseph's revelation to his brothers and Jesus' resurrection. Joseph was a mere shadow of Christ's person and work.

In 2026, what was our mission remains our mission—to make and mature disciples. What were our means remain our means—Scripture and prayer. What were our values remain our values—deep truth, deep relationship, desperate dependence and hard work. And what has been our goal remains our goal—to glorify Christ.
