Recently, Alex was airlifted to Pittsburgh Presbyterian Hospital after a severe drop in blood sugar caused a seizure. Doctors discovered a brain bleed, and he has since undergone multiple procedures. He also experienced an event that mimicked a stroke, affecting the right side of his body. While the cause is still being determined, diabetes has not been ruled out. Encouragingly, Alex is now beginning to regain mobility on both sides of his body.
Alex is a hardworking young man and he and his family are faithful saints of FAC. He has been putting himself through HVAC school while working part-time. As he now faces a long and challenging recovery, medical expenses, travel costs, therapies, and in-home care are quickly adding up. His family is humbly asking for support.
