A few weeks ago, Pastor Liz talked about our fears of scarcity—having nothing left—as she reflected on the story of the feeding of the 5,000. 🍞🐟 This week, Jesus promises us that the church will never die because God has built it.

On Sunday, we heard the story of the persistent Canaanite woman from Mark’s Gospel. Her faith and this story teaches us that, “There is always room for growth. There is always an opportunity to learn something new. Across our lives as Jesus’ followers, we, too, will learn that God’s mercy is bigger than we could ever imagine.” 💙

What a joyful and blessed day at Grace Lutheran! 💙

We were honored to share in the joy of Madeline’s baptism with the Miller family as she was welcomed into God’s loving embrace through the gift of Holy Baptism. It was a beautiful day filled with faith, love, and the joy of sharing this special moment together. ✝️🙏

A special milestone as well as this was Pastor Liz’s first baptism at Grace Lutheran.

Congratulations to the Miller family! May God continue to bless Madeline throughout her life and faith journey.

A wonderful NICU baby shower was held at the church in support of Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, NJ 🌸🍼

We were especially grateful to have Nicole, the head nurse at the maternity ward, join this celebration.

Grace Stitchers and WELCA both helped make this event possible, who also lovingly stitched the blankets, hats, and booties 👶🧵💛

It was a beautiful opportunity to gather, connect, and show support for the hospital’s NICU 🤍🌿

Grateful for everyone who helped make the day such a warm and memorable occasion ✨🍼
