Hey Church members, this is a card Keoni and Rainee wrote to us. I thought I would share it with you:
Dear FBCSD Family,
Never in our lives will we ever doubt the power of prayer.
This Sunday marks one year since we walked through the doors of First Baptist Church Soddy Daisy for the very first time. We came on a whim after spending a long time searching for a church that felt like home. Somehow, it only took one Sunday for us to know we found it.
Looking back now, we can see God’s hand in bringing us here in a way we never could have understood a year ago.
When we walked through the doors that first Sunday, we had no idea just one year later, our church family would be surrounding us in prayer during one of the most frightening moments of our lives. We will never be able to fully put into words what those prayers meant to us.
We truly believe God heard every prayer that was lifted on our behalf. He protected me, brought healing where we needed it most, and gave our family a miracle. We will never stop being thankful for it.
Thank you for praying for me, for Keoni, for our babies. Thank you for every text, call, message, and continued prayer as we move forward. Most of all, thank you for loving us and carrying our family in prayer when we needed it most.
One year ago, we walked through these doors not knowing what God had in store. Today, we are so thankful He led us here.
We are so incredibly blessed to call First Baptist Soddy Daisy our church home. ♡
