Back to Back Retreat Weekends 😆 Last weekend we went up to Fort Bluff for our Winter Retreat. led us in worship & was our speaker! We learned about the importance of being still, slowing down and being with God. We also had a great time in our MSBC Olympics - where team France took home the gold! This weekend hosted us again for an amazing D-Now weekend. was the speaker and he spoke about abiding in Christ & finding our Home in Him! Our girls also took home 3rd place in the Film Festival with their modern twist on a Bible Story “Jesus turns water into Dr. Pepper”. All around, we had an amazing past two weeks with genuine worship, building relationships with one another, and heartfelt messages from our speakers. BIG shoutout to all of our chaperones these past two weeks! You guys are THE BEST!!

Thank you to everyone who came out to see our show! HUGE thank you to all of the actors who put in work for the past 4 months! Everyone did AMAZING! Thank you to our kitchen staff for preparing all of the food every night! It was delicious! And thank you to all of the many, many people behind the scenes that it took to pull this off! We couldn’t have done this without you!

The past few weeks, our students have been walking through a series called Little Sins — learning that sins we often see as “small” can still take root and lead to destruction.
We’ve learned:
• Gossip corrupts everyone, so instead, use your words to build up and give life.
• To fight pride, we must trust God and put others first.
• How you handle your anger matters more than having it.
• Envy distorts our view of God, ourselves, and others.
Though we continue to battle sins like gossip, pride, anger, and envy, we find grace and forgiveness when we place our trust in Jesus.
