Much of his youth was spent in prayer and seeking the God’s face for clarification of this call. At the age of 15, he was licensed as a minister at Bible Gospel Center in New Haven, Connecticut where the late John A. Good was Pastor. He faithfully served Pastor Good in every way possible for many years. In 1986, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia to attend Morehouse College, where he later graduated. In
1990, he joined New Life Christian Center, under the leadership of the late Bishop Gus Kilgore of Eatonton, Georgia. There is where the mantle of God was released, and he was confirmed to the Office of the Prophet. Through much prayer and fasting in 1991, he was released from New Live Christian Center, and accepted the call to pastor. Since 1991 until now, he remains the Pastor of Grace Church of Stone Mountain in Stone Mountain, Georgia
In 1996, God had another elevation for his life. He was affirmed as an Apostle, and sat under the direction and leadership of the late, Apostle Robert Evans, Jr. Grace Church and Apostle Lockette served under the apostolic covering of Chief Apostle Janice L. Dillard of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Apostle Lockette is a man of great vision and uncompromising faith. In 1997 he birthed out an organization, Miracle Revival Assemblies Fellowship International (MRA). MRA is a fellowship of pastors with like minds, who come together to break down cultural and denominational barriers to win souls for the Kingdom of God. It is also pastoral training ground with a strong emphasis on a life of integrity and accountability, helping ministry leaders to effectively balance family and ministry. Because of his electrifying style of preaching, Apostle Lockette is declared a preacher’s preacher. His known as "God's Man of Faith and Power," as he ministers the gospel under a fresh and viable anointing with an accurate and powerful prophetic utterance. By the grace of God, and with an eye single to His glory, Apostle Lockette has been favored to travel extensively and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ across the country. His desire is to see the Body of Christ come into full maturity and fulfill its purpose. Following his endeavors in the Kingdom, his chief joys are his beautiful wife, Dr. Hashonah who stands beside him in ministry as Executive Pastor, and three wonderful children, son Nicholas Royale, two daughters, Jade Shoshana and Amber Quinelle. Apostle is also grateful to God for his grand daughters Jayden Ambria, J'adore Armani and his Only Grand Son Khalil Quinn.
