ORELC would like to congratulate this year’s graduates on their achievements and wish them well in all their future endeavors!

Lord Jesus, You have given gifts and talents to each of us, to be used in service to You, through our love and service to others. As young people consider their future and the career they should pursue, lead them to seek Your plan and purpose for their lives. Keep them close to You in love with You and Your Word. In Your name we pray. Amen.

On Sunday we have the color white on our paraments. It is the color of purity, divinity and eternity, symbolizing perfection, celebration, and joy. We are beginning the third division of the church year which begins with the Feast of the Holy Trinity, a celebration of the mystery of God, three in person, but united in substance. Please join our 9:15AM Worship Service, online and in person, which includes the Rite of Confirmation.

Heavenly Father, as our nation pauses today to remember those in the military who have given their lives for freedoms we enjoy, we pray you would have us all look to you for strength, comfort and guidance. Be with all who serve in our Armed Forces. Bless them and their families. Grant your loving protection. Let peace prevail among all the nations. In the name of Jesus, our Savior and Your beloved Son, who alone gives this peace and hope for eternity, we pray. Amen.

This year the church celebrates the Day of Pentecost on May 24, marking the end of the season of Easter. The word “Pentecost” literally means “fifty,” as it falls fifty days after Easter Day. Red is an appropriate color for Pentecost Sunday.
On this day we remember the power and fire of “the Lord and Giver of Life,” who revealed himself as the promised one. Join us at 9:15 am Sunday Worship Service!
