Tonight with our Hebron Lil Ones, we learned an important lesson about staying close to God—even when things try to pull us away.

We played a game where the children stood in a circle, holding hands, with a prize in the middle representing God. As they held on to one another, they gently pulled in different directions, trying to keep each other from getting close to the prize.

Those pulls represented the things Satan uses to distract and pull us away from God—disobedience, anger, selfishness, lying, bad choices, temptation, and the things of this world.

Sometimes we may feel like we’re being pulled in a hundred different directions, but we remind our kids that we don’t have to let go! We can choose to stay close to God through prayer, God’s Word, worship, obedience, and making good choices.

“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.” — James 4:8

Our Hebron Baptist Church Youth Group is excited to announce this special raffle!

This isn’t just something we purchased—the shoot house was built by our youth and their leaders, putting in hard work, time, and teamwork to make this project happen!

Prize: A 6’x6’ Shoothouse with Leg Risers

All money raised will go directly toward helping our youth with expenses for their upcoming mission trip with Rain Down Ministries.

Tonight with our Hebron Lil’ Ones, we used something as simple as tissue paper to teach a BIG lesson!

Each child had their part of tissue paper that connected to the other person. One little piece by itself doesn’t seem like much, but when we put everyone’s pieces together, we created something beautiful—and something much stronger than any one piece alone.

We talked about how God made each one of us special and important. We may all be different, but we each have a place and a purpose in God’s family. When we encourage one another, help one another, pray for one another, and stick together, we are stronger!

Just like our decoration wouldn’t have been complete without each child’s piece, God’s church isn’t complete without each one of us doing our part.

“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.” — Ecclesiastes 4:9

Alone, we may be one little piece… but together, we are STRONGER! 💕🌸

Just a reminder that we will not be having our regular Wednesday night Bible Study tonight at Hebron Baptist Church.

Instead, we encourage everyone to join us as we worship together with our brothers and sisters at East Fork Baptist Church for their Revival Service at 7:00 PM!
