Inhabitants of the Rock Church

Inhabitants of the Rock Church Inhabitants of Rock is a place where you can freely worship God. “A Pentecostal Experience.”

Non denominational church where everyone is welcome no matter race, color, or past. We don't believe that it's about if your a Baptist, Pentecostal, Methodist, Church of God, or any of the other thousands of denominations out there under the Christian faith, we believe that it is about God and nothing else. We have made it our goal to throw out the man made traditional rituals that man has added t

o the Christian faith, and get back the main point of the Christian faith and that is serving God with everything we have in us.

PRAY FOR YOUR PASTOR
Pastors are under attack today in every denomination & in every country. They are attacked from WITHIN their own churches by disgruntled attendees, WITHIN their own spirits by the devil & from WITHOUT by those who don't even attend or aren't members of the church that they have the privilege & responsibility to lead.

It's no wonder so many pastors are often discouraged, exhausted, frustrated & in their minds (if not in actuality) have tendered their resignations. Statistics say that pastors move from church to church or from church to another line of work at an alarming rate.

PRAY FOR YOUR PASTOR
- 97% of pastors have been betrayed, falsely accused or hurt by their trusted friends.
- 70% of pastors battle depression.
- 7,000 churches close each year.
- 1,500 pastors quit each month.
- 10% will retire a pastor.
- 80% of pastors feel discouraged.
- 94% of pastors families feel the pressure of ministry.
- 78% of pastors have no close friends.
- 90% of pastors report working 55-75 hours per week.

Before you judge your pastor, imagine you are the pastor and you have to deal with a church full of people like you...every day.

Beverly and I have no complaints. We are blessed to be in covenant with an incredible Bfwc Indianapolis family. We count it an honor to pastor such wonderful people. However, pastoring a church requires EVERYTHING we have...physically, emotionally & spiritually. We completely rely on The Lord for wisdom, grace & strength. We always covet prayer.

Pastoring a church is not easy. (If you do it right, it's not easy.) If you are in it for the position, it might be easy. But when you do it for the glory of God, you sometimes have to do the hard things. One of the things Paul told Titus to do as a pastor of the church in Crete was to "set in order the things that are wanting..." (Titus 1:5)

Spiritual leadership is MORE than just preaching the Bible. It involves leading God's people in the way the Lord would have them to go. It involves making decisions that are not always popular with everyone, but they must be done.

The pastor is the one who is going to give an account for the church. Hebrews 13:17 makes that pretty clear. "Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you." So since the pastor is going to give account for the church he pastors, he has to lead as the Lord leads him.

If you have a pastor that you're thankful for & love...PRAY for them every day. They are often dealing with complex issues, regarding families & faith for those they lead, that require a great amount of wisdom.

To God be the glory!

“ A Word From Our Pastor “

“March 2026”

I recently delivered a sermon on God‘s people seeking for a false prophets to comfort them in their sins. A false prophet is one who pretends to speak for God without God‘s unction. Jesus said the end time would be marked by false prophets.
*Matthew 24:11 - And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.*
This has truly come to pass as we see entire religions build around non-biblical teachings that fill you with comfort even in sin.
1Timothy 4:1-2 - warns that,
1- … in ladder times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing, spirits, and doctrine of devils;
2- Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.
It’s like that old song: “ Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven But Nobody Wants To Die “.
In 1 Corinthians 15:31 - Paul declares, “I died daily”. If you plan on having a heavenly home, you too, must die to this world and live free from willful and knowledgeable sin. The false prophets are teaching you that salvation comes through religious works, and what we do afterwards or in secret has a little or no effect on our eternal outcome, and that living free from sin is a good idea or optional. Do Not Fall For That Lie !!!
Romans 12:1 - Paul taught the people to,… “ Present your bodies, a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
Webster defines - “Holy” as - exalted or worthy of complete devotion as one, perfect in goodness and righteousness, devoted to the deity or work of the deity.
This is a process of obedience to His Word rather than a religion that confronts you in your willful sins and saves you through religious or carnal laws and by laws of any specific religion.
God‘s Holy Word will keep you searching for perfection and never finding comfort in sin.
Question is: Are we willing to die in our flesh for an eternal life?

 Thanks again, and God bless,
~ Rev. Curtis Ready

Pain will teach you lessons
no other instructor can.
Lessons of agony, distress,
and indescribable misery.

Grief will lead you places
you'd never go otherwise.
Through landscapes so brutal
your feet bleed, your eyes burn,
and your skin is laid raw.

We are faced with a choice when drinking
from the cup of sorrow.
Grow bitter
or grow better.

If we choose better through the pain
the pain is not wasted.

If we choose better through the suffering
something ugly is redeemed

If we choose better through the thorns of disappointment
then comfort replants the garden of our heart.

If we choose better through our sickness
something in our soul finds wellness.

If we choose better through the trial
the treasure of faithfulness is refined.

It's a hard truth
life is hard.
But you CAN drink from the bitter cup
without becoming bitter.
You CAN walk a hard road,
without becoming hard.

This thing,
this HARD thing
this PAINFUL thing
this DISAPPOINTING thing
it doesn't have to be THE thing
that defines you.
The treasure formed by the trial
THAT can be thing for which
you will be remembered.

Treasures are greater than trials.

IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW
MUCH WE STRATEGIZE
IF WE DON'T PRAY.

IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW
MANY FLYERS WE HAND OUT
IF WE DON'T PRAY.

IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW
GOOD OUR MUSICIANS ARE
IF WE DON'T PRAY.

IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW
GOOD OUR CHURCH LOOKS
IF WE DON'T PRAY.

WE ARE CALLED TO BE MEN
AND WOMEN OF PRAYER!
