❤️ A Genuine Love

What does genuine love really look like?

Romans 12:9–21 reminds us that genuine love is more than something we say—it’s something we live. It means loving without pretending, honoring others, serving faithfully, rejoicing with those who rejoice, weeping with those who weep, and choosing peace even when it isn’t easy.

Genuine love doesn’t ignore wrong, but it refuses to let bitterness have the final word. It doesn’t seek revenge—it chooses grace. It doesn’t simply love those who love us—it challenges us to love our enemies and overcome evil with good.

In a world that often feels divided, Romans 12 gives us a different way to live: love sincerely, serve faithfully, forgive freely, and let God handle the rest.

❤️ A Genuine Love

What does genuine love really look like?

In Matthew 16:21–28, Jesus reminds us that genuine love isn't always about saying what someone wants to hear. Sometimes, genuine love means being willing to speak truth, make sacrifices, and walk a difficult road because you care deeply.

Jesus showed us a love that wasn't based on comfort, convenience, or what was easy. It was a love willing to take up the cross and follow God's will.

A genuine love will cost us something. It calls us beyond ourselves and toward Christ.

Join us this Sunday as we explore what it means to love genuinely—and to follow Jesus even when the road isn't easy.

Sunday School After Church August 23, 2026. Sometimes children's ministry is like herding cats, wild but full of love and laughter. These kids had a ton of energy yesterday! They kept us on our toes.
