Luke 2:40 — “And the child grew…”

Even Jesus, in His true humanity, passed through the ordinary process of growth. He grew in strength and wisdom, and the grace of God was upon Him.

What a picture of God’s perfect work. The Son was not rushing the process, but faithfully walking through every stage appointed by the Father.

We often want the finished product, but God is faithful in the process. Growth takes time, and grace is present in every season.

So keep learning. Keep obeying. Keep trusting. What may seem like an ordinary season may be God preparing you for what He has called you to.

God is not wasting the process. 🙏

Tonight, let your heart rest in this promise:

“Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy.” — Psalm 126:5

There are seasons when faithfulness feels more like sowing in tears than celebrating a harvest. We pray, obey, endure, and keep trusting God when the ground beneath us feels hard.

But the Lord is not absent in those seasons, and our labor in faith is not meaningless. The tears we sow are not wasted. God remains faithful to His promises, and no act of faithfulness offered to Him is ever wasted.

As this day comes to an end, release what you cannot carry into tomorrow. Rest in what is true: God is sovereign, God is faithful, and sorrow does not have the final word.

The One who sustains you through the tears is able to bring you to joy.

Rest in Him tonight.
