When we have a light in the darkness, ought we to hide it? When we are lost in the dark, should we run from the light? The answer to both questions is no.

If you lack light, seek it.

If you have light, share it.

We all can become lost in this world, but none who seek God are turned away, so seek God, find the light that burns away addiction, mistakes, and anger, and message us if you have any questions!

It is written that with faith in Jesus Christ, we can work miracles.

Enos was hunting in the woods when he began pondering the words of former prophets in his heart. He turned to mighty prayer. He prayed to the Lord all thay day, and wrote that he 'Wrestled mightily' before the Lord until a voice came unto him and said "Enos, thy sins are forgiven thee, and thou shalt be blessed"

Enos knew that God could not lie, but wanted to know how the Lord could accomplish such great things. He writes:

"And I said: Lord, how is it done? And he said unto me: Because of thy faith in Christ, whom thou hast never before heard nor seen. And many years pass away before he shall manifest himself in the flesh; wherefore, go to, thy faith hath made thee whole"

The account of Enos is an example to all of us, that by sincere prayer and honest supplication to God, that we CAN receive answers to our questions, and not only that, but forgiveness for our sins. We know that we can overcome all things through Christ, so try it yourself. Pray. Ask God the questions of your heart, and seek His guidance. I can promise that He will answer, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

In the 1800's, there was a lot of chaos surrounding religion, especially in America where great religious revivals were in full swing.

One boy, a fourteen-year-old named Joseph Smith, heard the contending preachers, priests, reverends, and pastors, and wondered which of these denominations was true, or if they were all wrong together. He desired greatly to know the proper way to worship God, and one day as he was listening to a sermon, a preacher quoted James 1:5 from the Bible:

"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him"

Joseph Smith reread the scripture himself soon after, and it pierced his heart. If any man needed wisdom, he figured it was himself, and so he went out into the woods near his home, and prayed. He wrote this of the experience:

“I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head, above the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually until it fell upon me. … When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!”

Joseph Smith was called to be a prophet, here in these latter-days just as prophets were called of old. He was told that none of the religions of the day were true, and that he, as the Lord's prophet on Earth, would be responsible to restore the gospel of Jesus Christ in its fulness.
