Celebrating Black History Month, we honor the strength, resilience, and contributions of African Americans throughout history. May we continue to uplift one another, embrace our rich heritage, and inspire future generations to create positive change in our communities. Together, we build a legacy of faith, unity, and progress.

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,

As we prepare for some of the coldest weather to arrive tomorrow, we want to take a moment to remind you of the warmth and love that surrounds you—both from God and from our church family. Winter can bring its challenges, but it also gives us an opportunity to reflect on the importance of staying connected, not just to each other, but to the heart of our faith.

We encourage you to take the necessary steps to stay safe and comfortable—bundle up, check on your neighbors, especially the elderly or those who may need assistance, and remember that we are all in this together.

Let us also remember the warmth that comes from kindness, compassion, and generosity. A simple act of love—whether it’s offering a warm meal, a kind word, or a helping hand—can make all the difference in someone’s day. Know that you are in our prayers, and that we are trusting in God’s protection and grace over each of you.

Stay safe, stay warm, and know that you are deeply loved.

With love and blessings,
NFBC FAMILY

It’s always inspiring to see people like our very own Kim Pierre making a difference in our communities. Providing blankets to the homeless as the cold weather sets in is such a thoughtful and impactful gesture. It’s a reminder of the importance of compassion and helping those in need.

If you’d like to support our mission ministry, please reach out to us via private message. We are currently accepting donations of blankets and socks.

Our NFBC Christmas program was a huge success! The praise team ushered us into the spirit of the season with beautiful Christmas songs that sounded like a full choir. We were blessed with an amazing Word from God, delivered by Minister Robinson. If you missed hearing the powerful message, “He Knows My Name,” and learning about the three good benefits of knowing Jesus, you truly missed out!

To cap off the wonderful service, we enjoyed delicious chicken/sausage gumbo and seafood gumbo, graciously donated by one of our most faithful members, Deacon Moses. What a great way to celebrate the season together!

After service, our NFBC family spread holiday cheer by adopting families at Reality House in Downtown Baton Rouge. We donated diapers, wipes, clothes, shoes, toys, and more to help make their holidays brighter.

As the Bible reminds us in Acts 20:35, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

A special thank you to our very own Kim Pierre for her dedication to this mission. She is doing incredible work, and we can’t wait to see how God continues to use her in our church in 2025!

🎄We want to see you dressed to impress in your Christmas colors/attire.
