What a wonderful summer day to be at our Sioux Falls Women's Connection Brunch! Thursday, July 9, 2026
Our theme: Give Us The Scoop
The feature was Stensland Family Farms ,known for their scoops of hand-dipped flavorful ice cream. Doug Stensland give us the scoop about the history of their farm/business, how they got started and the products they offer besides their premium ice cream. And to top it off--we got a Scoop of Stensland's number 1 flavor vanilla!
Our musician was Morgan Lindermann of Sioux Falls, who did an excellent job.
Next was our speaker, Join Sherry Jarvis, owner of Heart in Your Hand Horsemanship in Burwell, NE as she shares her uplifting message, "The Missing Piece," a heartfelt reflection on putting together the pieces of life's puzzle.
It was a wonderful event and we enjoyed egg bake, muffini, a strawberry and of course coffee!

What a wonderful brunch today! Our theme was Summer Favorites
Our feature was the annual CATO Fashions Style Show, which celebrated every woman's unique style, with a collection of Summer Favorites - on-trend looks designed to keep you effortlessly chic and comfortably cool all season long.

Amy Ellsworth, a local favorite known for singing everyone's favorite songs sang 2 special songs, and also accompanied our style show.

Next was our speaker Elsie Friesen of Mountain Lake, MN. She spoke about "Relationships" - Along life's winding path, Elsie shared how relationships in her life shaped her choices and actions, leading her toward deeper growth and purpose. Be sure to check out CATO for some great fashions. If you see Amy's name on a concert this summer, be sure to check it out! She is a wonderful performer and you won't be disappointed!

What a wonderful morning!
The theme for our May Brunch was Prairie Romance !
Our feature and speakers were Alan and Loretta Sorensen of Yankton, SD. Alan's passion for Belgian Draft horses and a love of collecting vintage farm equipment came together in this special feature, "Our Dakota Horse Tales", celebrating the heritage of horse-powered agriculture.

Loretta shared their compelling story, Relentless Love, describing how what once seemed destined for divorce was transformed through divine intervention, bringing healing and restoration to their marriage.

Music was provided by Nikki Lynn Wasner, Garretson, SD
