It is a busy place filled with a giving spirit. Sunday worship, Transformation Station (aka Sunday school) and Bible study nurture spirits and knowledge. A significant focus is to connect with the community. SCIF-DOC ( Sioux City Islanders Fellowship - Disciples of Christ Congregation meets Sunday Afternoons, AA and NA support groups, Little Free Library, free Coat tree, Food Give Away, Calico Kid

s Preschool, City Elite Dance School, emergency shelter for Liberty School, Zestos coat give away, and a Zestos furniture give away. Members of the church participate in NAACP, Westside Coalition, and Siouxland Pride Alliance. Mayflower is registered as an Open and Affirming Congregation with the Congregational United Church of Christ. LGBTQ members and friends are welcomed and active in the church. We are blessed by active members and friends who lead and carryout multiple activities through the boards and committees of the church. They are a tireless and generous group. Our motto is “A people of faith on a journey with Christ.” We believe that “No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.” Mayflower looks forward to meeting and greeting new friends and members.
