A heartfelt THANK YOU to those 9 people who came to pray this morning at the County Courthouse!

In the Word it says: "...if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land." (2 Chron. 7:14)
Deut. 32:30 (paraphrase) 'One puts a thousand to flight and two, ten thousand..."

I love God's multiplication, don't you? I am hoping that each of you who wanted to be there but couldn't come, will find a way to steal away to spend time in communion with your Father who loves you so much, that He sent His own Son to die for you! He's not angry or disappointed, He's just patiently waiting to hear your voice. If you are born-again, then you are His beloved child and He is eagerly waiting for the time when we will see His face, and KNOW HIM, even as we are known.
Praising God for sending JESUS!

Love and blessings to all... SL

Easter is one of our favorite days as we remember the resurrection of our Savior, Yeshua (JESUS)!
Our family business in Lincoln is called "daVinci's" and every Easter for the last 39 years, we close to sales across the city, and open to those in need at 11th & G. This year we served over 800 meals. .. It was a delightful time of loving on people we hope to meet in Eternity.

I want to thank the wonderful staff and the MANY volunteers who came and gave of their time to serve and love on our guests. I want to especially thank my brother Kelly and brother-in-law Randy for all the hard work getting ready for serving that many people from 11 to 3 PM. The pre-prep has got to be challenging as we don't know in advance how many will come, yet the Lord has never let us down.

God is good. We cannot out-give Him. He is a rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him! I am praising God today for all of His kindness to us as we have desired to please Him. What joy it is to be His child! I am so thankful for the empty tomb and for His calling me to be His own. Jesus is calling all who will hear His voice and surrender their lives to Him. Just say yes to dying to yourself, YES to His sacrifice for you! :) It is the one decision that you will never regret!

A merry heart does good like medicine! From my friend Judith Moore's page:

This is long but good!
How Children perceive their grandparents.
1. I was in the bathroom, putting on my makeup, under the watchful eyes of my young granddaughter, as I'd done many times before. After I applied my lipstick and started to leave, the little one said, "But Grandma, you forgot to kiss the toilet paper good-bye!" I will probably never put lipstick on again without thinking about kissing the toilet paper good-bye....
2. My young grandson called the other day to wish me Happy Birthday. He asked me how old I was, and I told him, 68. My grandson was quiet for a moment, and then he asked, "Did you start at 1?"
3. After putting her grandchildren to bed, a grandmother changed into old slacks and a droopy blouse and proceeded to wash her hair. As she heard the children getting more and more rambunctious, her patience grew thin. Finally, she threw a towel around her head and stormed into their room, putting them back to bed with stern warnings. As she left the room, she heard the three-year-old say with a trembling voice, "Who was THAT?"
4. A grandmother was telling her little granddaughter what her own childhood was like. "We used to skate outside on a pond. I had a swing made from a tire; it hung from a tree in our front yard. We rode our pony. We picked wild raspberries in the woods." The little girl was wide-eyed, taking this all in. At last she said, "I sure wish I'd gotten to know you sooner!"
5. My grandson was visiting one day when he asked, "Grandma, do you know how you and God are alike?" I mentally polished my halo and I said, "No, how are we alike?'' "You're both old," he replied.
6. A little girl was diligently pounding away on her grandfather's word processor. She told him she was writing a story.
"What's it about?" he asked.
"I don't know," she replied. "I can't read."
7. I didn't know if my granddaughter had learned her colors yet, so I decided to test her. I would point out something and ask what color it was. She would tell me and was always correct. It was fun for me, so I continued. At last, she headed for the door, saying, "Grandma, I really think you should try to figure out some of these colors yourself!"
8. When my grandson Billy and I entered our vacation cabin, we kept the lights off until we were inside to keep from attracting pesky insects. Still, a few fireflies followed us in. Noticing them before I did, Billy whispered, "It's no use Grandpa. Now the mosquitoes are coming after us with flashlights."
9. When my grandson asked me how old I was, I teasingly replied, "I'm not sure." "Look in your underwear, Grandpa," he advised "Mine says I'm 4 to 6." (WOW! I really like this one -- it says I'm only '38'!)
10. A second grader came home from school and said to her grandmother, "Grandma, guess what? We learned how to make babies today." The grandmother, more than a little surprised, tried to keep her cool. "That's interesting." she said. "How do you make babies?" "It's simple," replied the girl. "You just change 'y' to 'i' and add 'es'."
11. Children's Logic: "Give me a sentence about a public servant," said a teacher. The small boy wrote: "The fireman came down the ladder pregnant." The teacher took the lad aside to correct him. "Don't you know what pregnant means?" she asked. "Sure," said the young boy confidently. 'It means carrying a child."
12. A grandfather was delivering his grandchildren to their home one day when a fire truck zoomed past. Sitting in the front seat of the fire truck was a Dalmatian dog. The children started discussing the dog's duties.
"They use him to keep crowds back," said one child.
"No," said another. "He's just for good luck."
A third child brought the argument to a close. “They use the dogs," she said firmly, "to find the fire hydrants."
13. A 6-year-old was asked where his grandma lived. "Oh," he said, "she lives at the airport, and whenever we want her, we just go get her. Then, when we're done having her visit, we take her back to the airport."
14. Grandpa is the smartest man on earth! He teaches me good things, but I don't get to see him enough to get as smart as him!
15. My Grandparents are funny, when they bend over, you hear gas leaks and they blame their dog.

Christmas! We have some charities that we support especially at Christmas, as I am sure that you do also. We have one that we love for lots of reasons. Wounded Warrior Project!

Twenty years ago, we started checking with "CHARITY NAVIGATOR" to see if the places we were giving to were actually using the monies in the ways that they claimed. Sadly we found that many were not. :( BUT the Wounded Warrior Project had a 98% approval rating! We love our military heroes as I am sure that you do also. Perhaps this Christmas you will consider them part of your gift list.

Who would have thought there could be this wide family of Facebook Friends?!! We love you so much and are thankful for your love, concern and prayers for us over the years. Christmas blessings to you and your families!

At Church growing up we often ended the service with this blessing song. (Be glad you cannot hear my voice!) But my heart is singing this for you and your families...
"The LORD bless you and keep you. The LORD lift His countenance upon you! And give you peace... And give you PEACE! The Lord make His face to shine upon you. And be gracious unto you! ...and be gracious... The Lord be gracious, gracious unto you AMEN! AMEN!!!

BILL Wilson part 1

Spiritual medicine can do what the natural medicine cannot do.
Principle is for everyone...
Prescription is for you.

God gives you something just for you - the antidote is just for you. If you obey, it will bring healing to YOUR situation.

God SPOKE the earth into being with a word... He will give you a WORD for your/our situation that will work.

You NEVER stop taking your spiritual medicine - everyday - ALL the time - till you die. (Go home!)

When it is God, you will hear it over and over (He often speaks through repetition).

"A stronghold is a mind set impregnated with hopelessness that causes the Believer to accept as unchangeable something that he/she knows is contrary to the will of God."
Quote from: Edgardo Silvoso of Harvest Evangelism

Choose to hope in Jesus!

I wanted to thank ALL of those who came to Yasha last night. It was a wonderful Kingdom night and the presence of the Lord was so thick in that place. We will miss the angels that God sent to be in our auditorium. We will miss seeing everyone and bless God for each one of you who were able/or compelled to come to share in our closing evening. It was a sweet kiss from Heaven for our hearts.

Yasha is still an entity, but the building at 5015 Garretson is being sold. Please join us in praying regarding a potential Yasha reopening this fall downtown... where, when and how...

A BIG THANK YOU to all of you who have supported Yasha for the last 10 years and to all of you who came and blessed us with your prayers, your volunteer worship sets, and your presence. We will miss you so much. You were more than visitors, you have become friends and... sisters and brothers in the Kingdom, and you are cemented in the center of our hearts.

A special THANK YOU to our staff:
Sue Brown - Di Widner - June Small - Audrey Dutton -
Roxanne Pojar
You live consecrated lives and it showed every day in prayer and in your acts of service. I am SO GRATEFUL that God sent you to be my sisters, friends and Kingdom partners.

A special THANK YOU to Alexa Paulsen for helping to launch YASHA. Your vision casting was so instrumental in who we chose to become as a ministry. You and Nick are cemented into the bedrock of Yasha.

A BIG THANK YOU to all the pastors and leaders who came to preach on Friday nights! You have our continual prayers and gratitude for your service to the Kingdom through speaking at Yasha. You were not paid except in love, esteem and gratitude. We are eternally grateful!

A BIG THANK YOU to all who came to volunteer for worship sets. I would name each one but am afraid that would forget someone. So many have SERVED TIRELESSLY over the last ten years.

Please, my dear sisters and brothers, continue to PRAY with us for the salvation of ALL who live in this region! May Adonai make it impossible to go to Hell from Siouxland! May the Name of Jesus become precious not only to the Saved but to the Lost. May His Kingdom Come! May His will be done on earth, in Siouxland, as it is in Heaven! AMEN!!!

All our love, from YASHA staff to your hearts...
Shawn, Sue, Di, June, Audrey, & Roxanne (Also Raun & Alexa)
