1st Presbyterian Church, Sioux City First Presbyterian is a friendly and welcoming historic church in downtown Sioux City. All are welcome. Join us for worship on Sundays at 10:30am.

First Presbyterian Church in downtown Sioux City is living out the good news given to us in Jesus Christ. All are welcome to worship services held on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Our worship is reverent, joyful, and attentive to the deep roots of Christian tradition that have sustained the church for over two thousand years. Service includes scripture readings from the Old and New Testaments (as

outlined in the Revised Common Lectionary) a sermon based upon one or several of those lessons, prayers, announcements, an offering, and the celebration of the Eucharist (also known as The Lord’s Supper). Our church also offers coffee fellowship each Sunday morning, Wednesday night meals, Bible study, young Christian discipleship, handbell choir, adult choir, children’s choir, and volunteer opportunities.

We wrapped up summer with one more joyful worship service in the garden. The rain held off just long enough for us to gather in this beautiful setting with our church family.
