It’s a sad day for the running community as we say so long to Dick Hoyt. He was one of the most inspirational runners many of us have ever followed and not for selfish gains but all for his wheelchair bound son Rick. Many of you in past RFG sessions will recall my showing videos of Team Hoyt, so wanted to share the news of Dick’s passing as we reflect on the selflessness of a runner who brought inspiration and smiles to so many!

For more than three decades, Dick Hoyt pushed his son Rick Hoyt, who is quadriplegic and has cerebral palsy, in the marathon. He retired from racing in 2014 ...

Wednesday June 3 is National Running Day. Normally, it's celebrated throughout the country with various location races. As we all know this is a different year, but I wanted to keep this fun, casual spirit alive by creating my own event. We all know that RUNNING is much more than the exercise so come on out tomorrow at 7 PM and bring your family/friends. Let's all celebrate together.
