PRAYER
It's not a "passive/aggressive" response to an unfortunate situation.
It's not a victim mentality that doesn't want to take responsibility for anything.
It's not something you do when you don't know what to do.
No!
Real prayer is messy!
Real prayer is deep!
It's powerful!
It's goes beyond the roots.
It connects the believer with the ROOT of all roots.
Real prayer muddies the waters because it's the only way to get out the toxins!
Real prayer shakes the unshakable!
It moves the immovable!
It makes the believers uncomfortable with the things we have allowed!
It makes us unsatisfied with what we have settled for!
Prayer causes us to take a hard look at what we've blinded ourselves to seeing!
Prayer says "NO, we're not doing this anymore!"
Prayer says evil has ZERO footholds here!
Real prayer is both LOUD and silent.
It is beauty all up in the face of ugliness!
It is life taking authority over death!
It is GOD taking authority over evil!
It is like an F6 tornado, a magnitude 10 earthquake, and the most powerful tsunami ever - all at once!
At the same time, it is a Peace that only exists in the Presence of God.
Get on your knees, literally or figuratively, and pray down the power of heaven.
We are called "Prayer Warriors"!
Not prayer whiners!
Holy Spirit, take over!!!!!!
