The Salvation Army is hiring!

On Tuesday, June 9 from 9AM - 2PM there will be walk-in and open interviews for our Emergency Assistance Provider and Janitorial positions. Interview appointments are encouraged, but not necessary. Please bring a resume with you to the interview.

Important Scheduling Information!!! In the upcoming weeks there will be a slight adjustment to our business/service hours.

The Salvation Army will be closed from June 5th until June 12th, re-opening on Monday, June 15. This time will help us re-organize and restructure a couple of things while we continue to aim to provide the best services we can to our community.

Our weekly programs of Sunday Church service, JOY Club, and Bible study will not be impacted by this are are still expected to run as scheduled. This will also NOT impact our scheduled Rummage Sale on Saturday, June 6.

*****IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT*****

The Salvation Army of Sidney/Shelby County is excited to announce that on May 1, 2026 they will begin providing emergency rental assistance to Shelby County residents who are experiencing housing instability due to hardship.

Emergency Rental Assistance intake interviews will take place on Thursdays and Fridays at The Salvation Army at 419 Buckeye Ave between 9AM-3PM. For those seeking assistance documentation will need to be provided: Picture ID, copy of lease, income verification, and documentation of hardship. After the initial intake meeting, more information may be required.

EXCITING NEWS!!!!

The Salvation Army of Sidney/Shelby County is extending its hours for Food Pantry access. Our Food Pantry will now be available during our business hours Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9AM-3PM.

Please feel free to come in during those hours if you are facing food insecurity. Call our office if you have any questions.
