Ethan spent 18 and a half years living for the world. Then a few friends refused to take no for an answer, dragged him to a Bible study, and everything changed.

His story is a reminder that God does not wait for us to have it all together before He shows up. He meets us in the middle of our mess, our sleepless nights, and our worst seasons -- not because we deserve it, but because that is who He is.

"To live is Christ and to die is gain." That is how Ethan lives now. Not perfectly, not without stress, but with his eyes fixed on the one who is doing the real work in him.

What if the detours in your life were actually the destination? Stephanie came to Connection Point after a series of plans that fell apart -- a house that did not close, a job loss, and a move to a city she never expected. But God had something better in mind.

In this episode of the Jesus Is Changing My Life podcast, Stephanie shares how surrendering control opened her eyes to see people differently -- from strangers on the roadside to families in an African refugee camp. The Lord is not just changing where she lives. He is changing how she sees the world.

Scott grew up attending church, completing catechism, and doing all the right things. Yet by his own admission, he had never truly invited Jesus in. There is a significant difference between religious participation and genuine surrender. Many people know about Jesus without knowing Him. The rituals of faith are not the enemy, but they can become a comfortable substitute for the real thing. Ask yourself today: are you going through motions, or are you genuinely opening the doors of your life to Christ? Surrender is not a one-time event. It is a daily posture of the heart that says, my way is not working, and I am ready for yours.

Will you make Jesus the main event? Not just first on the list, but the Lord over and in all of it. Surrender isn't about a big one time decision... it's everyday.
