Grace family, it’s that time of year again when our students venture back to school! Whether they go to public school, private school, or are homeschooled, this time of year brings with it a mix of emotions & experiences for them (& parents too!). Let’s come alongside them as the family of God & cover them in prayer for this school year!

A Back to School Prayer by Pastor John, Pastor of Students

Heavenly Father,
I thank you that Your mercies are new & fresh each morning. I’m thankful that these students get to experience You fresh this morning as the school year begins. I pray that they’d see You in the littlest details & that they’d shine brightly as the hands & feet of Jesus among their teachers & peers. I pray for boldness for them in their faith in You. Most of all, I thank You that You are nearer to them than they’ll ever know & that You will not leave nor forsake them. Be with them this year as they’re creating new memories & making much of You. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Now through THIS SUNDAY, August 9th, drop off new backpacks & school supplies such as pencils, pens, notebooks, binders, crayons, glue sticks, markers, scissors, mini tissues, & encouraging notes/prayers for students to the Community Closet or in the lobby at Grace.

Mondays 10am-2pm & Wednesdays 2pm-6pm

We asked you for prayer for the youth ministry’s yearly road trip & can we just tell you, GOD SHOWED UP! What an incredible weekend of fun, time spent in the Word, new friendships, & there was even a baptism!

Well, what are you waiting for?? Are you ready to invest in the next generation of the Church or what? God is raising up leaders, pastors, missionaries, spouses, parents & culture shapers right here & you can be a part of it!

This generation is being discipled one way or another: by the world or by the Church. Will you step up & be the Church?
