Loving Grace Fellowship of York County, PA (Eph. 2:8)

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and that it provides His church its doctrine, correction, and instruction for Godly living.

Loving Grace Fellowship is a Christian Home Church network located in York County, PA, and dedicated to sharing the grace of Christ through love to anyone who does not know Jesus Christ as savior. What We Believe (Our Statement of Faith)

We believe that the God of the Bible is real – not out of habit or tradition, but because when we confessed our own weakness and sinfulness, He proved himself to

us – forgiving us, changing us, giving us a new life, and filling us with His spirit. We believe that God gave His only Son Jesus to save us from our evil nature, that Jesus really lived and was crucified for our sins, and that He was buried in a tomb but rose from the grave with all power to save those who confess Him as savior and Lord. (I Cor. 15:1-8)

We believe that we are saved solely by His loving grace toward us in sacrificing His Son Jesus for our sins – and that we access that grace by faith alone. (2 Tim. 3: 16-17)

We believe that God’s grace teaches us to say “no” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives, empowered by the Holy Spirit living in us. (Titus 2: 11-14)

We believe in the supernatural and the miraculous – that God can, and does, perform miracles today. We believe that Jesus is the head of the church, that the church is His body, and that the purpose of the church is to first glorify and love God, love others, strengthen and equip each church member for ministry, and share our testimony to those who have not confessed Jesus as savior. (Col. 1:18, Eph. 1:22-23, Eph. 4:1-16)

We believe that Jesus is coming back for His church, and that the date and time of His return is known only to God. (John 14: 27-29, Matt. 24:36)

We believe that everything we have – possessions, talents, family, employment – comes from God and because of that we are called to be willing to give all in His service. We believe that in these days of economic uncertainty, the best use of God’s resources is found in following the example of the early church – meeting as a network of house churches focused on enabling and equipping each believer for ministry with minimal overhead cost.

Today's thought for Passion Week: The scriptures record Jesus' anger at those who defiled the temple with their greed. The Lord's house is to be a house of prayer! A place to enter into fellowship with God. What a joy and privilege we have to be able to come into his presence in prayer! Let's strive to have a house of prayer, personally and as a church, that pleases Him.

We've been studying Paul's letter to the churches in Philippi, and one recent passage (Phil. 2:14-18) has something important to say to us about our relationship with our fellow believers. Verse 14 in the NIV says "Do everything without grumbling or arguing", but the Greek words actually convey the....

Matthew 5:23-24

Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift

In these two verses of scripture we see the importance of peace and reconciliation among the children of God. It is so important the Lord says we are to hold our offerings until we have fixed things with a brother or sister we may have an issue with.

If we think deeper on these two verses we can see that anytime we give an offering and there are unresolved issues between us and a sister or a brother, our offering becomes tainted through disobedience.

So let us fight to maintain the unity among the saints and to honor our God with pure offerings and let us reconcile quickly any issue big or small.

God bless!!
