BOOKS! As you know, I'm a voracious reader. I have read and listened to many more books than these four this year, but want to recommend them to you for various reasons. Good books are good for mental health and the soul πβ¨
The New Perimenopause: Everyone should read this. It's an accessible, practical medical book about something everyone with a uterus goes through. Mary Claire Haver, MD | Menopause is excellent to follow on IG, along with the colleagues she recommends π
Murder at the Hotel Orient: This was fun! Set in Vienna and made me want to check in (but not get murdered).
The Courage to Be Disliked: This is a delightful introduction to Alfred Adler's Individual Psychology through a dialogue between a young student and a philosopher. If you don't know much about this book is a great place to start!
Tata: GAH! I'm OBSESSED with French author ValΓ©rie Perrin. This is her latest that has been translated into English. Her books always include complex characters, past events that influence the present, secrets, and music references. They are so very French. Makes me want to go back to France π«π· They are also deliciously long so you can be immersed for hours, days.
Don't forget to get my book this summer! My Sap is Rising: A Pilgrimage of Holistic Mental Health Healing with Hildegard of Bingen and Alfred Adler - link in bio π
