Day #2 of Summer U in the books! The day was spent with 120 kids who heard the story of Jonah. We all have times when we are faced with difficult situations, but like Jonah, God never leaves us, and we are not alone!

Football games were played, canvases were painted, bread was baked, slime was made, fish were caught, and incredible worship happened!

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

Day #1 of Summer U - Shipwrecked, Rescued by Jesus

Today, we heard how God rescued Daniel from the lion's den.

When I am afraid, I will trust in you. Psalm 56:3

115 kids worshiped, created, played, explored, ate great snacks, and were loved by our amazing crew of volunteers.

We are ready for day #2!

Yesterday, Jana spoke on Faith Over Fear: Lessons from the Red Sea (Exodus 14). Which of these sermon points challenged or encouraged you the most?

1.) Fearful situations are often the very places God leads us to accomplish His plans and purposes.

2.) What God has redeemed He also protects, sustains, and ultimately delivers.

3.)Fear distorts our perspective. Faith keeps our eyes firmly on the Savior.

4.) A wise person will respond and not react to fearful circumstances.

5.) Faith is more than believing God can act; it's obeying Him when the path ahead looks impossible.

Even while most Ignite Groups have taken a break for the summer, let's keep the conversation going. One of the best ways we continue growing is by reflecting on God's Word together throughout the week.

Don't let the pause in groups become a pause in spiritual growth — keep engaging, keep praying, and keep letting God's truth shape your heart.
