Mitchell, SD was our destination for Sunday June 14th. As a result, Pastor Wayne and Judy were able to worship along with the church family at River Tree Church. It is always a treat and a privilege to worship here as this was our home church for many years. Pastor Dan and Michele Ziebarth have been leading this ministry for the past 10 years. Weekend worship continues to grow with attendance hovering at 900 plus! They definitely have an effective and equipped Team who provide leadership and support for the vision and mission of RiverTree Church.

Pastor Dan’s morning message was the final in a series – Jesus On Relationships. He shared from Matthew 7:12, words that many of us know as the 'Golden Rule'. A few of his takeaways are: 1) The Golden Rule applies universally; 2) It applies especially where it is most difficult to apply; 3) No one has lived out the Golden Rule like Jesus; 4) The Golden Rule calls for active, not passive love.

The next time you’re in Mitchell on a Sunday morning, be sure to stop in for either their 9:00 or 10:30 service. You will be glad that you did!

It was a rainy Sunday morning for a drive to the Medicine Rocks Church located between Baker and Ekalaka, MT. This part of our country really needs the moisture, so the drive was quite enjoyable. The House of the Lord was fairly full, with at least 3 generations of people present for worship. A special part of the worship and praise time, was having the children on stage to sing, “I've Got the Joy, Joy, Joy…Down in My Heart”. Pastor Wayne was present to share the morning message, based upon Psalm 27. Some takeaways were… 1) Fear is a dark shadow that can imprison us within ourselves; 2) Anything worth having is worth waiting for, especially God; 3) Waiting on God is not easy to do, but you can do it because He is faithful, merciful, and powerful.
