Good Morning Everyone,

I have been informed that there is another scam email purporting to be from me, this time from ‘pastoremail. com’. I’ve received no word yet about any texts going out. As always, please be cautious about such messages. Feel free to contact me either by my email, my cell, or the church office if you receive something claiming to be from me that seems fishy.

My sincerest apologies that this happens periodically. Unfortunately, scammers will use the pastoral trust placed in clergy in order to take advantage of others. Remember that I will never send out such vague requests for money, other untraceable means of exchange, like gift cards, or other general appeals which feel suspicious.

So, stay safe and vigilant. When something claiming to be from me or the church seems strange, trust your gut and check in so we can get the word out. It may help keep others from falling prey to the same scams.

In this anxious and war-torn world, are you wondering how to find peace? If you are a young adult (age 18-35, not currently in high school), then this event is for you. This event will have hiking, crafts, new friends, daily prayer, and feature Austin Suggs of the YouTube channel, Gospel Simplicity.
