What a great evening at our Better Together (BT) event: Sunset Worship. It was great to see so many people just having a moment of fellowship. Thank you to Doug and MaryAnn for hosting and Robert Brown for leading worship.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT – FIFTH QUARTER CANCELED

After speaking with our school superintendent about the recent illness outbreak at Shepherd High School, FBC Shepherd has made the decision to cancel Fifth Quarter this Friday night, October 23.

The school has made the decision to cancel Friday’s pep rally as a precaution because of the close proximity of students during that event. We believe it is wise for our church to follow the school’s lead.

Since Fifth Quarter is also an indoor gathering where students are in close proximity to one another, we feel that canceling this week’s event is the responsible thing to do.

This decision is not being made out of fear, but out of wisdom, caution, and genuine concern for the health and well-being of our students and community.

We love our students, and we want to do our part to help prevent further spread of illness while continuing to support our school and families.

Thank you for your understanding! Please help us spread the word, and we look forward to hosting Fifth Quarter again soon!
