Believing that an anxious world needs to hear the Good News of the Gospel, we worship as a central act of our faith at an

8:30 and 11:00 service each Sunday with seasonal observance of the Lord’s Supper. The 8:30 service is held on Ocean Isle Beach during the tourist season, seeking to extend the Word to vacationers and church members. Believing that suffering people need the Church’s ministries of mercy and compassion, we provide mission programs including financial and volunteer support of the Brunswick County Food Bank. We also offer a Sunday School class for mentally challenged adults from a local Group Home. Shallotte Presbyterian participates in numerous denominational offerings. Important to the life of the congregation is the prayer chain, the Deacons’ ministry, and regular visitation. We continue to be involved with Faith Ministry in Reynosa, Mexico and support a PCUSA Missionary family in Pakistan. Believing that children, youth, adults and families need the spiritual nurture and fellowship of the church, we offer active Christian Education and fellowship programs for all ages. There is a commitment to fulfilling our baptismal vows through initiating and supporting programs to nurture children and youth of the church.

To honor our 60th year of Beach Worship Services held on Ocean Isle Beach, our church donated a Beach Safety Station to the Town of Ocean Isle Beach, and it was placed at the Driftwood Drive beach access. Our donation has been acknowledged with a plaque placed atop the safety station.
The Beach Safety Stations are part pf the Town’s Beach Safety Program. These stations provide daily flag warnings on ocean conditions, flotation devices for water rescue assistance and important guidance on how to respond if someone is in distress. The stations are managed by the Ocean Isle Beach Fire Department and have become an important part of the Town’s Beach Safety Program.
